Frequently Asked Questions

Should white oak cabinets be made of solid wood or veneer?

Both options are acceptable. For large door panels, a stable core material with a white oak veneer is commonly used, while solid wood can be used for the frame or specific details. The final construction will be determined based on the door style, dimensions, budget, and intended use.

Will white oak cabinets change color over time?

Natural wood may undergo slight color changes due to light exposure and wear over time; this is a normal characteristic of the material. A durable finish and avoiding prolonged exposure to intense direct sunlight will help maintain a uniform color.

Can white oak door panels be made with a continuous grain pattern?

Continuous grain patterns or uniform grain directions can be coordinated within the selected area. Due to variations in natural wood, the matching method and acceptable range will be confirmed during the drawing and sample stages.

Can a small number of cabinets be shipped along with other materials?

This can be evaluated based on the entire order and the container loading plan. When purchasing furnishings for an entire home or multiple product categories, small quantities of cabinets can typically be shipped together with furniture or other building materials, rather than being subject to a fixed minimum order quantity for a single product.

Is there a charge for cabinet samples?

Most small samples are usually free; you only need to cover shipping. For larger, full-door samples or special custom samples, the cost will be confirmed before production begins.

What information do I need to provide for a quote on White Oak Kitchen Cabinets?

Please send us the kitchen dimensions or floor plans, door styles and wood color references, a list of appliances, your preferences for countertops and hardware, as well as the project location and timeline. We can also provide a free consultation based on reference photos.

Materials & Construction

Cabinet Box Standard cabinet boxes use 18-millimeter plywood with a light, wear-resistant interior and 9-millimeter back panels. Visible ends and open sections are finished in white oak veneer plywood.
Cabinet Door The model shown features 20-millimeter-thick door panels with a stabilizing core, covered on both sides with natural white oak veneer and finished with solid wood edging. The doors of the tall cabinets are reinforced with anti-warping structures to accommodate their height.
Hardware The standard configuration includes DTC soft-close hinges and full-extension soft-close slides, along with brushed brass-colored handles. Tall doors and heavy-duty drawers can be upgraded with Blum or Hettich hardware.
Countertop The design shown features a 20-millimeter warm white quartz or sintered-stone countertop, with a backsplash and waterfall edge made from the same material, and cutouts made according to the specifications of the appliances and sink.
Veneer Matching Adjacent doors can be sequence-matched or laid out with continuous grain. Grain direction across the island, tall cabinets, and range hood is marked on the veneer layout to reduce noticeable color variation.
Clear Finish The white oak surface is finished with a low-gloss, transparent protective varnish to preserve its natural grain and light, warm tones. The veneer lot, color, and gloss level will be confirmed using a physical sample.
Compliance & Warranty Standard engineered wood panels meet CARB Phase 2 and EPA TSCA Title VI requirements, and we offer FSC-certified white oak and plywood. The cabinet structure comes with a 10-year limited warranty.

Available Finishes

White oak can retain its natural light color or be finished with a white wash, warm stain, or smoked stain. Due to the wood's natural grain and color variations, we recommend confirming the staining effect using physical samples and agreeing in advance on the acceptable range of natural variations.
